The model

Some people always carry a little more than the essentials. A water bottle, a notebook, a sweater, a few groceries on the way home from work, or the children's things for the day. The Ophrys was designed to accompany this kind of daily life.

Created in 2015, it is one of Faméthic's iconic models. Its design has changed very little over the years: improvements have mainly focused on practical details, finishes, and carrying comfort. This rare stability is a testament to the model's relevance and its ability to meet the needs of its users over the long term.

Its square base allows it to offer a large storage capacity while maintaining a flexible and balanced silhouette. Its slightly tapered shape towards the opening naturally limits the risk of items falling out while maintaining quick and easy access to its contents.

Handmade from full-grain leather, the Ophrys prioritizes ease of use, lightness, and comfort rather than a multitude of compartments or complex closure systems.

Manufacturing: 

Each Faméthic bag is handmade in my workshop using carefully selected full-grain leathers.

The different manufacturing stages - cutting, preparation, assembly, and saddle stitching - are carried out one by one to guarantee the quality, strength, and durability of each piece.

This artisanal approach also allows the models to evolve over time, based on the experience gained in the workshop and the user feedback collected from customers.
