It is the finest and most durable part of the hide. It retains its natural marks, imperfections, and character.
It is also a leather that evolves: it develops a patina, its tones become more nuanced, and it grows more beautiful over time.

At Faméthic, we have created a way of assembling our leather bags that gives them durability and repairability.
All seams without exception are sewn by hand using the saddle stitch technique, renowned for its strength. This stitch can only be done by hand thanks to the expertise of an artisan.
At Faméthic, we have also chosen clean, round punching of the leather.
This helps us avoid the risk of the leather tearing and greatly facilitates the repair of the seams when a stitch has come undone.
Since the brand was created in 2013, fewer than 5 seams have required repair!

Since Faméthic began in 2013, we have created more than 40 bag designs.
Each design has been created with and for our customers. Sometimes, several prototypes, multiple rounds of feedback, and an extended testing period are necessary to create a functional, attractive, and durable version.
